Texas Health Insurance

Employees of Texas Tech and state workers in the Lubbock area will receive a change to their insurance packages. The changes will take effect September 1 when employers switch insurance carriers to allow employees to use non network providers at a higher out of pocket cost.

While these employees are receiving this change in insurance coverage which they may or may not like, there are still a huge number of Texans who do not have any health insurance at all.
