Texas Health Insurance

Proposed health care changes would create an option for a public health insurance plan. However, Texas’ delegates are split along party lines on their support, or lack thereof, of the changes.

Texas’ two senators and three of its representatives have expressed their opposition to the changes for various reasons. The one Democratic representative has expressed his dissention through support for the changes. In either case however, it is undeniable that too many people are without health insurance in the state and the country.
